The Challenger Program<\/h2>\n

The Challenger Program provides high school students from any school with the opportunity to enrich their education and get a jump start on college by enrolling in college-level coursework at CCM. Students can take classes on campus or online and earn college credits in areas such as art, social studies, technology, languages, music, and more, along with earning their general education requirements in English, math, and science.<\/p>\n <\/div>\r\n <\/div>\r\n<\/div>\r\n\r\n\n\n\r\n

Enrollment Process<\/p>\r\n

STEP 1: COMPLETE THE ONLINE APPLICATION<\/h4>\n

Visit www.ccm.edu\/admissions\/ to complete our online application and pay the $30 application fee. When choosing your academic program, be sure to select \u201cChallenger Program- Non-Matric.\u201d<\/p>\n

STEP 2: MEET WITH YOUR ADVISOR<\/h4>\n

You will be assigned an Academic Advisor to assist you with course selection and registration. Remedial\/developmental English, mathematics, and ESL classes cannot be taken as a Challenger Student. College readiness will be assessed through several academic assessment methods.<\/p>\n

STEP 3: REGISTER FOR CLASSES<\/h4>\n

Register for courses online through your Titans Direct account. Submit tuition payments through your Titans Direct account.<\/p>\n<\/div>\r\n <\/div>\r\n

Academic Assessment Process<\/p>\r\n

College readiness is determined based on a review of English and Math competency using one or more of the following:\u00a0 evaluation of high school transcript (upon completion of junior year), standardized test scores (SAT Reading\/Writing 590 SAT Math 560 or ACT 23), or CCM\u2019s Accuplacer Placement Test results.<\/p>\n<\/div>\r\n <\/div>\r\n \r\n <\/div>\r\n <\/div>\r\n <\/div>\r\n<\/div>\r\n\r\n\n\n\r\n

Dual Enrollment – Titans Express<\/h2>\n

Titans Express is a dual enrollment program that provides students with college-level courses taught at their high school at a reduced rate. The classes, which also fulfill high school requirements, are taught by high school teachers who work with CCM professors to meet college-level standards. High school teachers have the same qualifications as CCM faculty teaching the same course on the CCM campus.\u00a0 High schools participating in the Titans Express Program sign a Memorandum of Agreement with CCM.<\/p>\n <\/div>\r\n <\/div>\r\n<\/div>\r\n\r\n\n\n\r\n
