What You Will Learn<\/h2>\n

If you are inspired by the recording and synchronizing of audio, the music recording program at CCM provides the foundation you need to gain entry-level employment in the recording industry.<\/p>\n

Acquire hands-on experience using state-of-the-art audio gear in the newly constructed Music Technology Center. This massive building on campus houses two recording studios amongst a plethora of other real-world spaces.<\/p>\n

Digital and analog recording equipment available in these learning labs include Audient analog consoles, Lexicon digital reverbs, Tubetech mic preamps and compressors, Amek\/Neve mic preamps and microphones by Neumann, AKG, Earthworks, Lawson, Coles, Beyer, Shure, Sennheiser, Telefunken and EV, amongst other tools.<\/p>\n

Upon earning your Associate of Science degree in Music Recording from CCM you are also well prepared to transfer and continue your studies at a four-year college or university towards your bachelor\u2019s degree.<\/p>\n <\/div>\r\n <\/div>\r\n<\/div>\r\n\r\n\n\n\r\n

Curriculum<\/p>\r\n

The Music Recording program features a 38-credit core with courses focused on recording, music business, microphone and audio techniques, hard disk recording, and an internship in the music recording business.<\/p>\n

You can also focus on music theory, an application in voice or piano, or pursue chamber choir.<\/p>\n
