Workforce Development at CCM offers a short-term certificate program in medical imaging for students who wish to move quickly into the job market without enrolling in a degree program. Students will first complete an anatomy lecture needed for the CT and MRI certification.<\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\"> Once that is completed, students complete a lecture course for their desired certification. This is followed by a six-month proctored placement<\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\"> clinical that will provide students with hands-on experience, preparing students for a medical imaging career. Preparing for and passing the desired imaging certification exam after these classes will help students stand out as a premier candidate for a quality imaging role.\u00a0<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{&quot;134233117&quot;:false,&quot;134233118&quot;:false,&quot;335559738&quot;:0,&quot;335559739&quot;:0}\">\u00a0<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{&quot;134233117&quot;:false,&quot;134233118&quot;:false,&quot;335557856&quot;:16777215,&quot;335559738&quot;:0,&quot;335559739&quot;:0}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n        <\/div>\r\n    <\/div>\r\n<\/div>\r\n\r\n\n\n\r\n<section class=\"spacer small\"><\/section>\n\n\r\n\r\n<div class=\"wysiwyg-block nav-section fade-in-container with-margins full-li-items\" id=\"who \">\r\n    <div class=\"offset-x-desktop-162 fade-el\">\r\n        <div class=\"max-w-container w-1596\">\r\n            <h2>Who Should Attend<\/h2>\n<p>These programs are intended for Radiologic Technologists who have a current NJ license, and for ARRT certified Radiographic Technologists looking to advance their career with additional advanced certifications.<\/p>\n<p>Each certification program consists of three main components:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Didactic Education in Cross Sectional Anatomy (CT and MRI only)<\/li>\n<li>Didactic education in the specialty area<\/li>\n<li>Clinical Practice in the specialty area<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Students enrolling in CT or MRI are required to take the Cross Sectional Anatomy class unless a course was previously taken. Please provide documentation of that course during your application process.<\/p>\n<p>Clinical education will be offered during day, evening and weekend hours. Clinical education hours will be scheduled by program faculty. Students will participate in CT, MRI or Mammography as appropriate. Clinical placements may be made available at local area hospitals and free-standing clinical affiliates.\u00a0 Mammography clinical is only available at Atlantic Health System, Morristown. Clinical experiences to achieve competencies are paid for by the student and scheduled for six month periods. Additional six month periods to complete competencies are also offered at the student\u2019s expense.<\/p>\n        <\/div>\r\n    <\/div>\r\n<\/div>\r\n\r\n\n\n\r\n<section class=\"spacer small\"><\/section>\n\n\r\n\r\n<div class=\"wysiwyg-block nav-section fade-in-container with-margins full-li-items\" id=\"reg\">\r\n    <div class=\"offset-x-desktop-162 fade-el\">\r\n        <div class=\"max-w-container w-1596\">\r\n            <h2><strong>Registration Process<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>All students entering the program must provide proof of the following:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Certification by the ARRT in a primary discipline (radiography, radiation therapy and nuclear medicine)<\/li>\n<li>Copy of their New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection license in Diagnostic Radiography<\/li>\n<li>Current resume<\/li>\n<li>Prior to entering the clinical courses, the student must have a criminal background check, 11 panel drug screening, physical health exam, current immunizations, flu vaccine, malpractice insurance and a current American Heart Association Basic Life Support Certification (BLS).
